RAIDS Browser Extension
Know when your AI goes rogue
You ask ChatGPT for a short summary and get a long, rambling essay. You ask for a formal email and get something casual that ignores half of what you said. That's a rogue response, and it's easy to miss. RAIDS, our AI monitoring layer, is now coming to your browser. Starting with ChatGPT, the RAIDS Browser Extension flags anything rogue as it arrives, with a score and the indicators behind it, all inside the chat.
How it works
Once you've installed the RAIDS Browser Extension, everything happens within your browser, by design. From signing up to spotting what's rogue, giving feedback and monitoring your usage, you never have to leave ChatGPT.
Add it to Chrome
Search RAIDS Browser Extension in the Chrome Web Store, click Add to Chrome, and pin it to your toolbar if you like.
Open ChatGPT
Log in to ChatGPT or stay logged out, it's your choice. Logging in gives you a better experience.
-
- Logged in: your rogue logs are saved in your chats, so you can look back at them any time.
-
- Logged out: you still get every alert as it happens, but they disappear when you refresh or start a new chat.
-
Sign up to RAIDS
Once you’re in ChatGPT, click the RAIDS extension in your Chrome toolbar (the puzzle-piece icon) and create your RAIDS account with just an email and password, all within your browser. Then sign in, and you're good to go.
Chat as normal, and see what's rogue
Every time you send a prompt, the RAIDS eye checks the response. A 🔵 blue dot means it's normal. A 🔴 red dot means it's rogue. Click for more details on any response:
-
- Rogue: you'll see a score up to 100% showing how rogue it is, plus the indicators RAIDS measured for that response.
-
- Normal: you'll see the same kind of indicators RAIDS measured.
-
Give feedback
On any response, rogue or normal, you can leave feedback. RAIDS learns from it and gets sharper over time.
Monitor your usage
Keep track of your credits in the extension too, so you always know how much of your Beta allowance you've used.
Launching soon in Beta
The RAIDS Browser Extension is free during Beta, with up to 10,000 credits for every user. We're starting with ChatGPT, with more of the AI tools you use in your browser to follow.
